We believe kids can!

At GGC Kids we believe kids can! Can know and love God. Can practice what they believe daily. Can grow into the leaders and world-shapers God has destined them to be. As they grow to love God, His plan, His word, His people and His world. Using age appropriate bible based curriculum, we discover together God’s plan as fulfilled through Jesus and enter into the adventure of knowing and loving God for life. Come along and join in the fun with our trained and safety-checked volunteers.

You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise

Children’s Ministry

Welcome, so great to have you! At GGC Life we’re excited about God’s plan for the next generation. What you’ll find when you visit us are three departments of GGC Kids: Treasurekids 0-2, Superkids 3-6 and Powerkids 7-11. We also have a live video feed from the main auditorium for feeding mothers with new borns.

Treasurekids 0-2:

We have prepared a fun-filled safe and stimulating environment for our little ones to enjoy. Along with some story and song times.

Superkids 3-6:

Our lessons at this age are geared toward their developmental stage. For each morning lesson we use bible story and an interactive “God-stations” based on hands on approach.

Powerkids 7-11:

We have a kids service format which includes games, worship, memorizing the bible and relevant Bible messages using object lessons to illustrate. The learning is very interactive. We work towards the goal of activating the children in their faith at whatever level they’re up to.

May the LORD give you increase, you and your children!

Both for visitors just popping by for just one Sunday or if you’ll be with us for a while, we’re glad you’re checking out GGCKids. The following are a few things that could be helpful to know before you get here.

When Should I Arrive For Check-in:
It’s a good idea to arrive at least 15 minutes early. It’ll take a couple minutes to fill out registration information for your child[ren]. We suggest 9.45am.

Where Are The Kids Rooms Located:
On level two, directly above the auditorium where the adult meeting is running. Straight up the stairs you used when entering the building.

Where Do We Check In:
For Superkids & Treasurekids please head upstairs into the reception foyer and fill out your registration (for first time visitors) if you’ve been with us a while the process is even quicker and is just a matter of collecting your registration sticker. If you have primary aged kids you’ll find the Powerkids teacher and helper signing kids in just before worship downstairs where they will remain until the time of singing has finished. Accompanied by their teacher they will be escorted upstairs to their classroom to finish their morning’s program.

When Does GGC Kids Meet:
We have facilities for kids meetings both in morning and night services. 10am and 6pm (5pm in autumn and winter). However the full children’s program runs in the mornings only.

What Will My Kids Experience:
Fun, friendship and God’s word! Each program is geared towards meeting our children at their stage of development. If you are interested in sitting in and viewing or volunteering we would love to hear from you.

When Do I Pick Up My Kids:
Please make your way upstairs to collect your children at the end of the service. What measures are taken to keep GGC Kids a safe place? Our check-in and check-out procedures, including a parent/child sticker system, are in place to ensure that no child is removed from the Kids areas by any person other than the one who dropped off the child. Background screenings are also required for all staff and volunteers serving in GGC Kids. Along with this, since our volunteers serve regularly, their familiarity with GGClife families often serves as an additional safety measure. Find out more by checking out our policies and procedures.

What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray. So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
